The day was full of cold but exciting snowmobile trails, nature and fun. Your last pub stop closed at 2am and now you’re back at the cabin. Everyone’s clothing is drying by the fireplace; hot toddies and hot chocolate have been passed around. With all that brisk, fresh air, you know you should be exhausted but you don’t want the fun to end. What time is it? Time for a friendly afterhours game of blackjack!

Poker Chips, Betting and Cards… Oh My

You can have real money buy in or just pass out the poker chips to use for fun. Either way keep the mood light and friendly. Assign a dealer either for the evening or for just a few games and then you can trade off—that way everybody gets to play. Surely everyone knows the basics of blackjack so there shouldn’t be a problem with that; and even if there is a newbie I’m sure someone can explain the rules and possibly even a few strategies. If everyone brought their laptop, provided you can get a signal, everyone can even play each other or people from another snowmobile group that you possibly met during the day. Snowmobiling is all about friends and good times, so just because you’re in out of the cold doesn’t mean the fun stops. If you want more great blackjack tips, be sure to check out wizardofodds.com.

Hit Me… That’s 21

If you do play with real money then the winner obviously has already been rewarded sufficiently. If you’re just playing with poker chips for money it would be nice to have a prize for the winner. A nice bottle of their favorite liquor, a case of beer, a gift certificate (maybe to a gas station for the snowmobile)… Any one of a million things will do.

Don’t forget to bring plenty of hot chocolate for around that fireplace and a little something with which to kick it up a notch. You are after all adults so you get to have adult fun.
